Bristol

Hi everyone, it's a bit late here in bristol where I have spent two days off after a seven day week at K ill F irst C ustomer wandering the annoyingly steep and surprisingly windy Bristol.

Flats here are like being in Norway but without the Norweigan wages to accompany it. My interview with Borders was a bit Formulaic and disaponting. I thought it would be more spontaneous and relaxed. I also thought they were going to offer me the managers job and fell apart a bit when they didn't. . .

I have another interview tomorrow morning, as well as juggling two more flat viewings before I rush back to a joyful evening reunited with K idnap F at C hildren in the kitchen where I can spend five hours gutting chicken- gutted.

Read Eats Shoots and Leaves (a punctutation book) and am impressed with my own use of the dash above, but am doing this whilst over looking the gastly punctuation that is the usual fair of my other emails- and this email.

Bristol is a good place to be though and dispite a string of unfortunate (mainly my fault) incidents I still feel like this place has a vibe which, strangely enough Preston does not have. Many thanks are due to my friend Rowan and his friend Luke and his grilfriend Lou for putting me up at extremely short notice and entertaining me with a high degree of success.

If the interview at Waterstones doesn't go well though I will start to worry about living here, I want a good job, better than K indly F ill C olhesterol, and Im starting to think that Bergen may be on the cards. A lot to decide.

I'm also very keen to have Camilla back because I've found the past month without her pretty frustrating. I've missed her company alot and can't wait to see her again. She's torn between Bergen and Bristol as well and we might need to have a think about what next. For now though, I like Bristol and will keep trying online to find some flatrs that are more within our price range and still supa cool etc.

Upcoming things happening are not much (apart from Camillas return) but coming down to Bristol has at least provided some much needed momentum away from K etamin F oul C riminal and on to the next place and experience.

Hope you are all well,

Alistair
