Before clicking the below link to the first Rooftops related website know this:
I tried to build a really good one by using Dreamweaver MX 2004. However I have no knowledge of how to work the program and wanted to get the site up and running in about a day, not a year. Therefore I used the Blueyonder (telewest) sitebuilder to get this simple affair off the ground.
It is a prototype for something that might come out if Rooftops gets picked up. It will tell any of you who don't know, about the story I've been writing, and give those of you who already are bored by the story some slight variety.
I emailled the story to some publishing friends of mine who run a small company in York and am waiting to hear what they think of it. I have also been trying to pressure the elusive Chicken House into making a decision on it and it's entirely possible that I have been short listed in a Waterstones competition, although all I have to go on for that is a nod and a wink from the girl at our local waterstones who was in charge of the competiton. She may have just been flirting with me, or more likely had some dust in her eye, personally I doubt that they even sent it off!
So inspired by another injection of potential (like drugs but cheaper) I went ahead and built the following website

Feel free to comment on it, or whatever, but as I say (especially to all you Norwegians who did web design at Melbourne) I don't understand dreamweaver (yet!) and did it in a day. So there!
Life apart from that is fine. I am busy at work and sick to the back teeth of corporate bookselling, but loving the feeling that soon i'll be contributing to the selves. My short story is published November 14th. Check out www.endpapers.co.uk
